I made this thread. It has some really awesome art from the previews in it, especially this:
I currently have it as my desktop:
Could someone who has PS get rid of the white borders, to make it blend better with my desktop? pretty please?

I know this is a little OT, but how did you get that clear skin to work on rainlender? I've tried everything and can't get that one to work =/.

What do you mean by it not working? Does the entire background become a solid color, or...?

I can't even get it to show up on my skin menu. It came with three sub folders in the main one (Graphics, Icons & buttons). I think i read somewhere that you can only have one so I'm stumped. ![]()

No, the themes folder may contain any number of sub-folders, but you need a "containing" folder. Let's say you downloaded a zipped theme named "MyCoolSkin.zip"
In that zip, there were those folders you mentioned, but also some .ini files in the "root". If so, you just need to unzip the archive to (by default): C:\Program files\Rainlendar\Skins\MyCoolSkin
The actual name of the folder doesn't actually matter, as long as the .ini file(s) and located directly below it. Let me know if this helps you out some? ![]()

Ok i have a folder named "Clear" (which is the skin name) in the "Skins" folder in my Rainlender2 folder. Inside the clear folder is a jpeg preview of the skin, a config file called "English", and the three folders i mentioned earlier. I refreshed my Rainlender window and even tried rebooting still with no luck. Seems my Rainlender just hates this skin because I've gotten sevral others working fine
.
BTW this is the skin I'm trying to get working >_< http://www.customize.org/details/42647

You must explain to me exactly what is going on in that explorer window.
Also, I don't suppose there's a way to force windows to display every folder a certain way by default? I'm wanting to force Details view + arrange by type + show in groups.

Ah, that. See the thing is, that isn't explorer, it's a file manager named Directory Opus. It's by far one of the most awesome applications I've ever used, but it's not free. I bought a license couple of weeks ago though, and I find that it's well worth it. It will even replace explorer more or less completely should you so wish. They give you a free 60 day trial without any nag screens or disabled features, so check it out and see if you like it. Hell, they even give you free support the first 30 days of the trial ![]()
However, if all you need is to force windows to display the way you're asking, it's actually quite possible with Windows Explorer as well. What you do is:
1. Close all explorer windows but all (not really required, but I'd recommend you to just to be on the safe side).
2. Set up one explorer windows just as you'd like all of them to be.
3. In the menubar, choose Tools -> Folder options ->View -> Apply to all folders
That should be it!

Ahh, I see, thanks. A quick look at DO makes it look like something I'll have to try.
